Service policies

Clear policies before the detail.

These policies are designed to protect both the customer and Clark's Mobile Detailing by setting clear expectations before work begins.

Deposit & cancellationNo refundProperty & theftDamageInspection

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

  • A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve an appointment and is applied toward the final service total.
  • The appointment is not considered confirmed until the deposit is received and Clark's Mobile Detailing confirms the booking.
  • If the customer cancels, does not show, or backs out after the appointment has been reserved, the $30 deposit is generally non-refundable because time and preparation have been set aside for that booking.
  • If Clark's Mobile Detailing must cancel the appointment, the deposit will be refunded or transferred to a new date at the customer's choice, subject to applicable law.
  • Rescheduling requests are handled based on availability. Clark's may allow the deposit to transfer to a new date when reasonable notice is provided.
  • The booking deposit may be paid digitally through Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. Cash may be accepted in person for remaining balances.

No Refund Policy

Once detailing work has begun, service payments are non-refundable. Completed services are also non-refundable. If a customer believes a service concern exists, the customer should contact Clark's Mobile Detailing as soon as reasonably possible so the vehicle can be reviewed and, when appropriate, a reasonable opportunity can be provided to address the specific service issue.

Personal Property, Lost Items & Theft Policy

  • Customers are responsible for removing cash, electronics, jewelry, documents, weapons, medications, sentimental items, and other valuables before service begins.
  • Items left in the vehicle remain the customer's responsibility. Clark's Mobile Detailing is not responsible for items that are lost, misplaced, missing, or stolen unless the loss is proven to have resulted from the business's misconduct.
  • Loose or unsecured items may be moved temporarily when necessary to clean an area. Customers should notify Clark's in advance about anything that must not be moved.

Damage & Pre-Existing Condition Policy

  • Clark's Mobile Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing scratches, dents, paint failure, oxidation, peeling clear coat, cracked trim, worn upholstery, loose components, electrical faults, aftermarket defects, weak adhesives, failing tint, or other existing conditions.
  • Customers are responsible for identifying fragile, damaged, recently repaired, repainted, modified, or aftermarket areas before work begins.
  • Normal detailing can reveal existing defects that were previously hidden by dirt, residue, oxidation, or poor lighting. Revealing an existing defect does not by itself mean the detailing caused it.
  • Nothing in this policy excludes responsibility where applicable law does not allow it or where damage is proven to have been caused by negligent detailing work.

Pre-Service & Final Inspection

When practical, existing concerns may be noted before service. Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle at completion and raise any service concern promptly.

These policies work together with the Terms of Service. Call or text 409-678-4288 with questions before service.
